UNICEF 2009 Report

In 2009, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) was assessed at an institutional level and across nine countries: Ethiopia, Guatemala, Mozambique, Pakistan, Peru, Senegal, Serbia, Thailand and Uganda. Two
of these countries – Mozambique and Pakistan – participate in the UN Delivering as One (DAO) pilots.

The assessment draws on the perceptions of three groups of respondents: MOPAN members in-country and at headquarters, as well as direct partners (both government and NGOs) of the multilateral organisation. These were collected through a stakeholder survey that was conducted primarily online, although a small proportion of direct partners completed it via face-to-face interviews for practical reasons.
